Get to Know Me

Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to get to know me and take a look at my portfolio. In case you missed it, my name is Bridget Braga, and I am a Certified Digital Marketing Professional. I've been working in marketing for 8 and a half years now and have never stopped loving it.

I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, where I developed core skills in critical thinking, troubleshooting, analyzing data, and writing. I know this is an unusual education for this kind of work. But the skills I learned while studying translated extremely well into my marketing career, and have only made me work harder and pay closer attention to the details.

During my final year of university , I came across an internship opportunity for a data organization and analysis marketing position. I wanted some office experience, so I applied for the internship, got it, and the rest is history.

Throughout my marketing career, I have held positions in social media management, content development, communications, data analysis, website management, SEO/SEM, brand management, and graphic design. Most recently, I have pursued freelance work as a graphic designer, where I have had to manage my own work, deadlines, and delivery. I have loved every era of my marketing career and am excited for new challenges and opportunities.

Who is Bridget Braga on a personal level? Outside of my career, I am a big fan of dogs, baking, coffee, good food, pickles, pickleball, the Toronto Blue Jays, Yahtzee, and the colour pink (maybe a bit obvious). I come from a big family located all over the world, and very much enjoy quality time with them whenever I can get it. I currently reside in Unionville, a cozy little neighbourhood in Markham known for being the filming location of the pilot episode of Gilmore Girls. And lastly, I married my Brazilian husband a year ago, and we have been enjoying everything from traveling and exploring Unionville to playing pickleball and cooking Brazilian dishes together.
